Know your chords

Advanced Chords:

• ·        We use Capo to transpose the guitar chords.
• ·        By increasing the tension of strings, frequency they produce increases.
• ·        In music terminology it is called “scale”.
• ·        Here we can see the chord progression while moving down the frets.

1^st Fret A - A#/Bb - B - C - C#/Db – D - D#/Eb - E - F - F#/Gb - G - G#/Ab till 4^th fret

5^th fret A   again starts.

Transpose Table:

• ·        By keeping Capo on 1^st fret A is transposed to A#/Bb, see first line in table.
• ·        By keeping Capo on 2^nd fret A is transposed to B, see second line in the table.
• ·        By keeping Capo on 3^rd fret A is transposed to C, see third line in table.
• ·        By keeping Capo on 4^th fret A is transposed to C#/Db, see fourth line in the table.
• ·        Similarly with all chords, we can transpose to any chords according to scale of song or singer.
